My friend just found out she has lice and we've been wondering if the UV lights will help kill them? I know lice don't like light or heat so will getting a tan work?Will going to a tanning salon help rid of lice/nits?
you can try. But when I had lice we had to use a special shampoo to get rid of it. It didn't take long. about 2 hours. Sun or sun lamps MAY help but Im not sure.

She needs a special lice shampoo and then she needs to comb out the nits with a special comb. Any drug store will have them and instructions on how to use.
