What should I take with me to a tanning salon? Beach towel?

I've never been before, but I'm going in about a week. What should I take with me to a tanning salon? Beach towel?
I take myself and some sun tan lotion (you may have to buy it there). Some places require you provide your own eyewear (these are special). You might call and ask before going to see if they require you to provide anything yourself.

Oh yeah go easy the first time maybe start out at 5 minutes to see how you will react to the lamps! What should I take with me to a tanning salon? Beach towel?
How about NOT gong to the tanning salon? Unless you love the thought of having parts of your skin cut off when you get skin cancer. All sun exposure causes skin damage.
why do you want to tan in the winter?
The number of a good dermatologist - check out this article before you go:

The folks at the Mayo Clinic know what they are talking about. If you can't believe you increase your risk for skin cancer, at the very least you should be aware that tanning of any sort causes your skin to age prematurely.

Take a look at a young woman with damaged skin that show up under ultraviolet light:

Try finding someone to give you a professional spray-on tan.
Unless you want to get skin cancer, don't go to the tanning salon at all. Pale guys are way hotter than tan guys anyway (I assume you're a guy based on your nick name).
nothing, go as is. you will be fine. use a lotion that they sell and enjoy.
Have you seen older people that have done alot of tanning? Their skin ages faster, save the dough, and save yourself form premature aging.
The only things I take with me are sun goggles (for eye protection) and a thong (for those great lines!) Towels are provided for you.
Bring lotion, if you have it, or they have some there you can buy. Sometimes they just have samples that you can try out. Make sure you are using some kind of lotion though so you don't burn or get dry skin. Most salons provide towels for you and cleansing cloths. Also, bring a pair of goggles, some salons don't let you in tanning without them. If you have any questions, ask the people who work there, they will tell you everything you need to know :)
Why would you want to risk skin cancer? Those tanning beds are unadulterated UV radiation sources. No atmosphere to protect you. Suggest you try one of the excellent tanning creams available on the market today and stay away from the tanning booth.
if i were you i wouldnt even go to a tanning salon because it could put you at a high risk of skin cancer, and you could die. just a suggestion
