You have to doing tanning beds gradually. There is no 'real' quick tan. I wouldn't stay in the whole time, work your way up. Once you get a tan you can then put lotion or oil if you like, but be sure to wipe the bed out once you are done so that it does not have a puddle of lotion, oil or sweat.
Also put a dab of under eye SPF moisturizer under your eyes to prevent dark circles and SPF on your face to prevent freckles and age spots...it happens over timeI read that you can put on lotion before going to to a tanning salon, can you wear tanning oil?
Tanning Beds are the best. I go once a week, have a great tan and I make sure whenever I am in the sun over summer I ALWAYS wear sunscreen.
This way I never get burnt, can control the amount of sun and maintain a balanced tan. You will only burn in a bed if you are in too long

No your burn, cos its soo strong on a sunbed, you will properly burn, subeds are not like normal sun,
NOT ADVISED!
you should only use the kind that's specifically made for indoor tanning. otherwise you'll get really burnt.
NO. Do not use regular suntan lotion. Salons usually have trial sizes of lotions for tanning. They do make lotions that speed up the tan vs buringing but it can burn really bad if you tan for too long and have light or fair skin. If your tanning for the first time and you havent gone in a while, only go in for 5 minutes or so and work your way up to the 20 minutes or so.
