you really should put sunscreen on your tat's i always do if i go in one.. otherwise it will fade and when you get older it will more then likely be a big blob.. the more sun on your tat the worse it will be so just try sunscreening that one spot to keep it looking fresh and bright!!I go to a tanning salon alot and i was wondering what will happen to my tattoo?

yes. cover it. use spf 45 or higher and cover it if possible.





your tattoo will fade. the sun takes away color from everything, not just your tats. ever see a 85 buick with its original paint job? the sun did that.
You cant have your cake and eat it too, tanning ruins your skin and that includes your tattoo. You can use sunblock but that will only buy you some time and alot of tattoo artist wont touch up your tattoo for free if you dont listen to their care instructions which usually includes staying out of the sun and tanning beds
If it is a new unhealed tat, don't go tanning. Must be completely healed. The place you got tatted should have told

It will just fade, and if it fades you can get it re-colored. I use sun block on mine.
Yes, your tattoo will end of fading over time. And I just got my tattoo last year, and the guy told me the best thing for it was SPF 50, and just put that on everytime before you tan or expose your tattoo to sun.
SPF 30 minimum is usually recommended on the tattooed area. Too much sun exposure will fade the tattoo. You can put cold cream, thick, on it while in the tanning bed to prevent the rays from reaching/fading it if you still want to go.
Exposing your tattoo to the sun or tanning booth will eventually fade your tattoo. I just put sunscreen on mine before I tan. This will protect it from any fading!
i've tanned with my tats and never had a problem, but my oldest one is only 8 years old
